About the Piece
Some of the smallest things are the ones we carry everywhere. DOT was designed to give them a place of their own. Its circular form is shaped from reclaimed tyre tube, while the perforated sides create a rhythmic pattern of light, texture and negative space. A simple press-button closure keeps your headphones tucked inside, while the metal hook lets DOT become part of something else, clipped onto your keys, handbag, backpack or belt loop. Small in scale, considered in every detail.
No Two Are Exactly Alike
Reclaimed tyre tubes carry traces of their previous life. Subtle differences in texture, markings and surface character are natural to the material and mean your piece may differ slightly from the one photographed.
These variations are part of the piece, not defects.
Care
Treat gently and keep away from prolonged moisture, direct sunlight and harsh chemicals. Clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Store in a cool, dry place when not in use. As each piece is made from reclaimed material, natural variations, marks and changes over time are to be expected. They are part of what makes every ReUp piece unique.
