About the Piece
Instead of decoration added to the surface, the character of RELIEF comes from what has been taken away. Precision-cut openings transform reclaimed tyre tube into an intricate outer layer, contrasting with the simplicity of the card pocket beside it. The result is tactile and architectural, functional enough for every day, yet distinctive when seen up close. Choose between two laser-cut expressions: one organic and free-flowing, with irregular lines that move across the surface; the other geometric and structured, built from abstract curves, angles and repeated forms. Two interpretations. The same material. A different way of seeing it.
No Two Are Exactly Alike
Reclaimed tyre tubes carry traces of their previous life. Subtle differences in texture, markings and surface character are natural to the material and mean your piece may differ slightly from the one photographed.
These variations are part of the piece, not defects.
Care
Treat gently and keep away from prolonged moisture, direct sunlight and harsh chemicals. Clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Store in a cool, dry place when not in use. As each piece is made from reclaimed material, natural variations, marks and changes over time are to be expected. They are part of what makes every ReUp piece unique.
